Sergeant First Class promotable Christian Colon spent a few years as a diesel mechanic before entering the army back in 2003.

Since that time SFC Colon has successfully completed a long list of military schools and racked up numerous  overseas assignments.

He is a senior parachutist, senior leader and tactical information operations planner qualified.

A native of Puerto Rico, SFC Colon is also bi lingual and currently serves as an instructor at the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation.

Now because of continued Army excellence, Sergeant First Class Promotable Christian Colon has become the Columbus Rotary Club’s soldier of the week.
