Hottest Of The Year So Far Arriving
The wet weather that crisscrossed the region this past weekend has made it into Florida, and is not returning. Low humid weather is now the name of the game through the middle part of this week, so take advantage of it. The nights will be quite comfortable for sleeping, and the daylight hours will be bright and pleasant.
Meanwhile, a cool front across the Upper Plains will approach from the northwest. Said front will stay well to our north, but a light westerly breeze in advance of it will allow the heat to build again. It’s not out of the realm of possibilities that a little shower and thundershower activity returns ahead of this front later this week; primarily Thursday.
Once the threat of wet weather exits, and a large dome of high pressure builds on top of the valley, the first 90 degree day may be had for most, and that would be this upcoming weekend. Stay tuned and stay cool.
