Local Retirement Community Ranked One of the Best in the U.S.

Riverplace ranks in the top two percent of senior care providers in the country.

Riverplace, located on River Road near Green Island Hills in Columbus, is a proud recipient of the annual “Best of Awards” presented by SENIORADVISOR.COM, the largest ratings and reviews site for senior care and services in North America. Columbus Mayor Skip Henderson’s chief of staff Richard Bishop was on hand to present the award yesterday. With over 29,000 senior care communities in the United States, this is quite an achievement.

“Riverplace opened its doors back in 1998. We have 114 apartments that range from 1 bedroom studio apartments up to 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartments,” said general manager Vanessa Roque. “We’re all inclusive, independent living which means you come here to live your best life and, if you need a little help, we are here for that, too.”

On top of the award, the mayor signed an official proclamation that Thursday was “Riverplace Retirement Community Day” for the city. Riverplace ranks in the top two percent of senior care providers in the country.
