Rounds of Showers and Thunderstorms Through the Weekend
Strong Storms Possible
An approaching frontal boundary that has produced some severe storms off to our west will slow down and eventually become stationary just off to the northwest of our area Friday, but we will still endure unsettled weather through the weekend as several shots of energy will zip through kicking up showers and thunderstorms.
Isolated showers and thunderstorm are possible this afternoon and this evening. Rain chances will taper off overnight then return on Friday.
Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms Friday through Sunday. Gusty winds with isolated downpours will be possible. Will need to keep a steady eye on the chance for severe weather Saturday and Sunday although it’s not looking too impressive at the moment.
TODAY- Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Highs in the upper 80s.
TONIGHT- Isolated showers and possibly a thunderstorm under mostly cloudy skies. Lows in the mid 60s.
TOMORROW- Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the mid 80s.
