Cloudy & Warm Thursday

Showers & thunderstorms Friday through Sunday

Expect partly cloudy skies today with a slight chance for showers as daytime highs remain well above the norm for this time of the year. You’ll also feel the humidity continue to creep in. It won’t be too uncomfortable, but will still feel quite sticky. Guh!

Looking ahead, a couple rounds of shortwave energy will shoot through the region. Round one looks to move through Friday and kick up isolated showers and thunderstorms. The second will push through Saturday into Saturday evening. This one appears to be a bit more organized so will add in a MARGINAL risk for severe storms to include damaging winds up to 60mph and quarter size hail.

Sunday will see some leftover moisture to give us a few showers and maybe a thunderstorm before a drier air mass slides in Sunday night and will keep us dry through at least the middle part of next week. Highs and lows will remain several degrees above average.

TODAY- Partly cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 80s. A few isolated showers possible.

TONIGHT- Hit or miss showers and maybe a rumble of thunder under partly cloudy skies with lows in the mid 60s.

TOMORROW- Mostly cloudy with isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the mid to upper 80s.

Keep smiling,
