Pope Francis Donates $500K To Help Migrants In Mexico

POPE FRANCIS' CHARITY DONATED HALF A MILLION DOLLARS SATURDAY TO HELP MIGRANTS IN MEXICO

(CNN) – Pope Francis has donated half a million dollars to help migrants in Mexico.

According to the Vatican the money will be used for housing, food and necessities, split among 16 congregations.

The Pope’s charity, Peter’s Pence, released a statement saying men, women and young children flee to the U.S. for a better future but have been stranded and unable to enter the U.S.

The Pope has often criticized governments with tough immigration laws saying quote “builders of walls sow fear.”
