Chris Watts’ Home Auction Postponed
AUCTION OF HOME WHERE FAMILY WAS MURDERED DELAY UNTIL SUMMER
(CNN) – The Colorado home where Chris Watts murdered his pregnant wife and two young daughters has been delayed at auction.
It was scheduled for this week but has been postponed until July.
The five-bedroom, 4,100 square foot home is in foreclosure because mortgage payments have been missed.
Watts is serving three consecutive life sentences for the august 2018 murders of his 34-year-old wife, Shanann, and their two daughters, Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3.
Shanann was 15 weeks pregnant with the couple’s first son, Nico.
According to a spokesperson for the titleholder of the home,JP Morgan Chase Bank, “everyone is cooperating,” including Chris Watts.
The bank is also working closely with Shanann watt’s family and exploring all options.
