Another Dry & Warm Day
Severe weather threat Friday morning
High pressure shifting offshore will allow moisture to begin filtering in, so we will start to see some cloud cover today, but we do stay dry as highs warm into the low 80s. Still keeping an eye on a cold front that will sweep through our area Thursday into Friday. With this system, we anticipate strong storms Friday morning, but the timing of this could change. We expect the storms to push through before daytime heating can take effect to turn them severe, but still not ruling out strong winds, hail and some tornado activity for our area.
Once this system moves away, much cooler air will inject in and bring daytime highs down into the 60s with overnight lows in the 40s Friday and Saturday. High pressure returns to keep us dry well into mid next week.
TODAY- Partly sunny with highs in the upper 70s low to 80s.
TONIGHT- Partly cloudy with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.
THURSDAY- Partly cloudy with highs in the low 80s. Breezy with gusts up to 15 mph.
