Calm In-Between Storms
Tracking The Next Storm
No blanket of clouds and a fresh cool air mass will lead to jacket weather on the way out the door tonight and Tuesday morning.
Sunshine Tuesday will allow for a nice afternoon, and there will be even more warmth Wednesday. However, higher humidity will return in advance of another large storm system later this week.
Dry weather will likely hang on during the daylight hours Thursday, but a gusty breeze will be developing as a cold front approaches from the west. This cold front will slam into a high humid air mass, much like this past Sunday, leading to a round of rain and heavy thunderstorms. Despite storms holding off until Thursday night and Friday morning, there is the risk of damaging winds and a tornado once again.
Hit/miss showers may linger Friday afternoon, but a cold gusty wind will take shape as temperatures struggle in the 60s.
This Easter weekend will be mainly dry, but a chilly start giving way to a seasonably mild Easter afternoon. Stay tuned.
