Gosh; It’s Warm!
Severe Weather Threat Sunday
A tranquil, enjoyable mild night is upon us. Enough said about that.
Warm weather will continue to be the name of the game through Saturday. Although patches of fog will dot the countryside early Thursday morning, the brightest part of the day will be early. As clouds return, there can be a stray late-day shower. Most of Friday and Saturday will likely be rain-free, if not completely dry. A weakening cool front approaching from the northwest may stall too far away. This will allow for an uptick in the humidity department as a southerly air flow from the Gulf of Mexico develops.
A much stronger storm system is due to arrive Sunday. As it slams into the already warm, humid air, heavy thunderstorms will form. A few of those storms can turn severe with damaging winds, hail and perhaps an isolated tornado.
Drier, more tranquil weather will return early next week.
