Auburn Historic Run Will Be Remembered By Tigers Fans For a Long Time
AUBURN SENIORS WORE A TIGERS JERSEY FOR THE LAST TIME SATURDAY NIGHT, BUT HAVE LASTING IMPACT ON THE PROGRAM
The Auburn Tigers historic season came to an end last night and it really couldn’t have ended in more painful way.
On a positive note, this team team made history that Auburn fans won’t soon forget.
“We just grew this whole year, we battled adversity through the whole year, Says Auburn Junior point guard Jared Harper. “Being able to win to this point is a great experience.”
For Seniors Malik Dunbar, Horace Spencer and Bryce Brown this was their last game in an Auburn Uniform.
“That’s what hurts the most, I won’t be able to wear this jersey again,” Says Auburn Senior shooting Guard Bryce Brown. “Hopefully I had a huge impact on this program because this program definitely changed my life.”
“Bryce Brown is a two time champ in the SEC and he got Auburn to it’s first Final Four. Here he is grateful to Auburn, when we should be so grateful to him,” Said Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl.
Following the loss the Tigers had a hard time looking to next year, but 14 players are eligible to return for next season.
