Showers & Thunderstorms Return Friday
After a wet and cloudy morning, skies will gradually clear with sunshine returning among the clouds today. We will stay dry through Thursday afternoon as temperatures moderate to around seasonal Wednesday before pushing above the norm Thursday into the weekend where we will be flirting with the 80s.
A mid-level trough will slide through the Tennessee Valley late Thursday bringing rain chances back into the forecast by Friday. Not looking at a lot of instability with this system, but will not rule out isolated thunderstorms through Saturday morning. Another system is anticipated to affect our area Sunday afternoon with showers and thunderstorms.
TODAY- Isolated showers ending in the morning then partly cloudy with highs in the mid 60s.
TONIGHT- Clear with lows in the mid 40s.
TOMORROW- Sunny with highs in the mid 70s.
