CDC: 40 More Measles Cases Reported In A Week
CDC REPORTS 268 NEW MEASLES CASES SINCE THE FIRST OF THIS YEAR
(CNN) – The number of measles cases in the United States continues to grow.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirms at least 268 cases of measles since the first of the year.
That’s 40 more than what was reported last week.
15 U.S. states are reporting measles cases.
That includes Washington state, which has been dealing with an outbreak since January.
In all of 2018, the CDC reported 372 cases of measles in the U.S. which was the second-highest number of cases in more than 20 years.
