Columbus Botanical Garden Hosts Gardening Symposium

With Acclaimed Author James T. Farmer III

The Columbus Botanical Garden will host the “Get Gardening!” Symposium featuring Georgia native, James T. Farmer, III for a presentation, floral demonstration and book signing.

According to those at the garden, The acclaimed gardener, designer, cook and lifestyle expert is also a best-selling author of eight books including the Wall Street Journal’s best-selling garden book, A Time to Plant: Southern-Style Garden Living.  His most recent publication, A Place to Call Home: Timeless Southern Charm, is his first interior design book showcasing eleven homes from Sea Island to Atlanta to St. Louis.

Copies of his new book, A Place to Call Home: Timeless Southern Charm, and other favorites will be available for purchase.

The event is Saturday, March 16, 11:15 am to 12:15 pm, to meet Farmer.
