T-Storm Marks A Change To Chillier Weather

Warm And More Humid Thursday

The passage of our latest warm front will lead to a milder start to Thursday, but also more clouds and more humidity.   The daylight hours will likely remain rain-free from Columbus and point southeast on Thursday.  However, there may be an afternoon thundershower in spots near, and northwest of I-85.

The bulk of shower and thunderstorm activity associated with the next cold front will occur Friday.   There remains no risk of a tornado, but winds can gust toward 40 mph in any thunderstorm.

Cold nights will return this weekend, but sunshine will return for St Patrick’s Day weekend.

Another storm will form over the Gulf of Mexico early next week.   For now, the WLTZ weather team likes a storm track far enough to our south where dry weather will likely remain with us.  However, this southern storm track will reinforce cool weather for the Vernal Equinox (Spring) on Wednesday.   Stay tuned.
