Fort Benning Soldiers See President Trump

With strong security in place, Air Force One touched down at precisely 11:43 this morning.

It is a major military mission when the Commander in Chief leaves Washington like he did today March 8th, 2019.

That’s why officials at the fort worked through the night and into the early morning hours organizing the President’s arrival at Lawson Army Air Field.

With immense security in place Air Force One touched down at precisely 11:43 AM.

Among those waiting to see the president, the Fort Benning Commanding General, Major General Gary Brito, selected soldiers from various units on post plus an equal number of their family and friends.

With Air Force One, Marine One and three Ospreys powered up it was hard to communicate outside but some soldiers were willing say how excited they were to see the Commander In Chief.
