Your Health Minute

Women not taking heart disease seriously.

In Your Health Minute,

Most young women don’t worry about their heart health.

Researchers from Boston Children’s Hospital surveyed over 300 women between 15 and 24 years old.

Only 10 percent knew that heart disease is the leading cause of death in women.

More than three-quarters said they didn’t worry much about getting heart disease.

However, nearly half of the women said they were concerned about getting depression or anxiety.
