Severe Weather Possible Sunday
Winter Returns Early Next Week
Saturday will start with patchy fog; otherwise clouds will part for a little sunshine like recent days. That will allow the continuation of mild weather despite the chance of a stray thundershower.
Sunday will also be warm and humid. Showers will be on and off anytime for the second half of the weekend. However, as an Arctic cold front approaches, there is the risk of severe weather later Sunday afternoon through the first part of Sunday night. Damaging wind gusts and flooding downpours are the biggest threat, along with the prospect of an isolated tornado! Know where your safe place is before the storms strike.
Windy, colder weather will arrive late Sunday night through Monday. It’ll be a taste of Winter. Fat Tuesday promises to be brisk and cold before milder weather returns late next week. Stay tuned, and stay safe.
