Wet Tuesday; Sunny Wednesday
After a chilly, rather cloudy weekend, somewhat milder weather made a return Monday. As the air flow continues out of the Gulf of Mexico tonight through Tuesday, we will stay with the mild weather. However, we will also stay with the clouds, some fog, drizzle, rain and a thunderstorm. While precipitation will be spotty through Tuesday morning, the coverage area will pick up during the midday and afternoon hours Tuesday. No severe storms are expected as our latest cold front races in from the west and exits Tuesday evening. There will be a downturn in temperatures in the wake of the cold front, but that will be more notable during the nights and mornings through midweek.
Dry weather sticks around through Thursday, but another storm will begin to take shape. The risk of rain returns later Thursday night and Friday to wrap up the work week. While this weekend looks rain-free with seasonable temperatures, there can be another storm approaching early next week. If you have along weekend due to Monday being President’s Day/Washington’s Birthday, outdoor plan may be more suitable early this weekend, as opposed to late. Stay tuned.
