Rain Chances Increasing

Thunderstorms on Tuesday

High pressure weakens as it moves off the coast and a wedge that has been in place will dissipate some today, but cooler air at the surface could make it tough for some areas to get out of the 50s this afternoon while others outside of the wedge will see 60s and some 70s.

A low moving in from the west will provide enough lift to kick up a few isolated showers today turning to more scattered tonight into early Tuesday ahead of a cold front expected to sweep through on Tuesday. There could be enough limited instability to add in a slight chance for a thunderstorm late morning/early afternoon Tuesday. Another system is projected to move in Thursday into Friday.

TODAY: Isolated showers under cloudy skies with highs in the upper 50s to mid 60s.

TONIGHT: Scattered showers under cloudy skies with lows in the mid 50s to around 60.

TOMORROW: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm with highs in the mid to upper 60s. Windy with gusts up to 20 mph.

Keep smiling!
