Warm Today; Cooling Down for the Weekend
Near Record Temps This Afternoon
One more day with above average temperatures then we cool down heading into the weekend.
Patchy fog during the morning commute then we can expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies this afternoon with near record highs. Our rain chances pick up tonight and we could see some scattered showers out ahead of a cold front that will pass through by Friday afternoon. This will bring highs and lows back down to around seasonal Friday through Sunday.
It will be cool and mostly dry this weekend, but rain chances will sneak back in Sunday as more moisture is introduced to the region. A chance for isolated showers will remain through early next week before another area of low pressure is expected to push another frontal system into the region. This one could bring heavier rainfall and thunderstorms as early as Tuesday.
TODAY: Patchy fog during the morning commute then mostly sunny to partly cloudy. Highs in the mid 70s to low 80s. Breezy at times with gusts up to 15 mph.
TONIGHT: Scattered showers overnight with lows in the upper 40s to mid 50s.
TOMORROW: Isolated showers under partly cloudy skies with highs in the mid 50s to near 60. Windy with gusts up to 20 mph.
