The city of Atlanta amps up security days before the big game

Local, state, and federal authorities gathered today to discuss security preparations for one of the highest profile events of the year – Super Bowl LIII.

The NFL says there is a drone flight restriction in place now through Sunday.

Homeland Security reminds fans to head to Mercedes-Benz Stadium early.

Don’t forget to pack your patience and less of everything else.

Only clear bags and small clutches will be allowed in the arena.

Officials say the security perimeter is seven miles of fencing around the stadium.

Also they’re urging people to use mass transit to get around Atlanta.
