Sun & Cold Breeze Return Thursday

Dry Weekend

The axis of our latest cold front is moving eastward, allowing rain to taper off to a shower before ending well before daybreak. Isolated flash flooding in areas of poor drainage is likely, so take caution if traveling.

Thursday will be windy and colder, but wind gusts will likely be in the 20mph range, so not quite as strong as Wednesday. However, the wind will make it feel like the lower 40s during the afternoon, so dress appropriately.

Friday and Saturday will be bright and cool by day; cold at night.

Somewhat milder weather returns for a cameo Sunday and Monday. Another Arctic cold front arrives next week, sending temperatures tumbling into the 20s by night. Said front may bring showers Tuesday, but drier air will likely arrive before it turns cold enough for a snow flurry. Stay tuned.
