Auburn United Methodist Helps Hurricane Florence Victims in New Bern, North Carolina

A team from Auburn United Methodist Church teamed up with a group from Buffalo, New York to help hurricane Florence victims in New Bern, North Carolina.

They partnered with the Fuller Center Disaster Re-Builders in New Bern.

About 30 from Auburn and 20 from New York worked on five different houses that had tremendous water damage.

They also are building houses so future volunteers have a place to stay during the recovery.

The joint team also served together in Houston to help Hurricane Harvey victims.

Thousands are still working to get back in their houses and return to some sort of normalcy.

If you or your organization like to serve there go to fullercenter.org.
