Heating Bills Set To Rise
A fresh batch of cold air, originating from the Northwest Territories of Canada, arrives over the next 24 hours. The combination of the wind on Wednesday along with this cold air will make it feel like the 40s for a large part of the day, despite daytime high temperatures in the 50s for many areas.
Sunshine will do no justice over the next couple of days, but it will turn out more tranquil later this week. Nighttime low temperatures will become sub-freezing for many as well.
Meanwhile, a storm moving onshore in the West will arrive this weekend. While heavy rain isn’t the most likely scenario, the storm may come at us in pieces, allowing for some rain Saturday followed by an occasional shower Sunday into Monday. Stay tuned!
