Cloudy with Isolated Showers Today, Colder (Seasonal) Temps Coming
More rain possible this weekend
A cold front moves through today, but it has lost a good bit of steam so only looking at a slight chance for isolated showers mainly to our north and west. Once this system passes, much colder air will move in led by rather gusty winds on Wednesday. Strong high pressure sets in and will keep us dry mid-week through Friday. Temperatures will also hover around normal or just a bit below as well.
Our next unsettled weather will develop across the Southern Plains while merging with a short wave of energy out of Canada by Friday. Moisture will spread out across our area by Friday night and lead to scattered showers for the weekend before the system moves out by Sunday.
Today- Mostly cloudy with a slight chance for isolated showers. Highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. Winds W around 5mph.
Tonight- Partly cloudy with lows in the low to 40s. There could even be some upper 30s in areas north or outside of the city. Winds W 10mph with gusts to 15mph.
Tomorrow- Sunny with highs in the low to mid 50s. Winds NW 10-15mph with gusts to 20mph.
