Rough Start Friday; Windy End
A large storm approaching from the west will allow a spotty shower and some drizzle to blossom into heavier rain overnight into Friday morning. A thunderstorm or two will also be on the prowl until the passage of our latest cold front. An average of 1-2″ of additional rain is expected through Friday morning. The combination of a saturated ground and this additional rain will lead to flooding in a few areas of poor drainage, so caution is advised.
Gusty winds on the backside of the exiting storm will huff and puff over 30 mph at times through Friday afternoon with no more than a passing shower.
This weekend will be brighter; after cooler starts, the afternoon hours will be quite nice.
Most, if not all, of next week will be dry and mild. Stay safe.
