Two More Days Of Wet Weather

Brighter Weekend

A bit of rain and drizzle will continue across the area tonight with areas of fog redeveloping.   No flooding woes will be had… least not yet.

Occasional light rain and drizzle is on the docket once again for Thursday, but eventually a western storm system will arrive.    The combination of more rain with that next storm and a saturated ground will lead to flooding in a few spots, at least in areas of poor drainage.   The worst of the 1-2″ additional rain will occur Thursday night and Friday, along with a gusty wind.

Drier air on the backside of this storm will arrive just in time for this weekend.   Although the morning hours will be cooler, the afternoons will make up for it via sunshine, so get some outdoor plans.

The next threat of wet weather will be a meager one come Tuesday, so the balance of next week will finally focus on dry, mild weather.
