Teen New Year’s Resolutions

In Your Health Minute,

There are resolutions you can talk with your kids about.

Kids in elementary school can focus on being safe in the new year.

Pediatricians encourage kids between the ages of 5 and 12 to sit in the back seat of cars, use the seat belt at all times and always wear bike helmets.

They can pledge to mainly drink reduced fat milk and water and only drink soda or fruit on special occasions.

They can also promise to speak up when they see bullying and to not share personal information online.
