More Wet Weather

Foggy Start Wednesday

A nearly stationary front that is currently situated from west to east across the Chattahoochee Valley will wobble back and forth over the next couple of days.   While no heavy rain is expected into Thursday, there is a western storm system that will arrive later in the week with pockets of heavier rain.    Before then, low clouds, fog and drizzle will dot the landscape through daybreak Wednesday, so you will need to give yourself extra time to reach your destination.

Light rain will return at times from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday afternoon before the intensity picks up Thursday night into Friday.   There may even be a thunderstorm with gusty winds.

Meanwhile, temperatures will be highest south of the stationary front as opposed to north of the front, but as no time will it actually be cold for this time of year.

Sunshine will be back just in time for this weekend.  Although the mornings will be chillier, the afternoons will be comfortable.   So, start making outdoor plans for this weekend.
