Monday Rain, Isolated Thunderstorms

Showers Through Thursday

Expect areas of dense fog this morning as you head out on your morning commute. A short wave of energy will slide across our region through tonight as a warm front moves out and a cold front moves in producing isolated showers this afternoon. There could be enough instability to kick up a few thunderstorms by tonight. We continue with the wet pattern through Thursday, so we end 2018 and begin 2019 on a soggy note. No strong weather is expected, but there could be enough energy to produce some isolated thunderstorms during this wet stretch.

Temperatures will progressively get cooler this week before bottoming out in the low to mid 50s for highs on Friday with temperatures in the mid 30s Saturday morning. Sunshine looks to make a full return this weekend.

Cloudy and breezy today with isolated showers in the afternoon. Highs in the low to mid 70s.

Breezy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms tonight. Overnight lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.

Showers likely for New Year’s Day with a thunderstorm or two possible. Highs in the mid to upper 60s.

Keep smiling!
