The heaviest of the rain associated with our latest storm has already come and gone. However, there will be additional showers and drizzle throughout tonight and the first half of Friday. Meanwhile, areas of dense fog tonight will slowly lift and move away as gusty winds develop toward daybreak.
Drier weather will return by the middle of Friday afternoon, but fresh cold air, cloud cover, and gusty winds will make for one cold day!
Sunshine Saturday will turn a colder start into a great afternoon. Sunday will remain mild in advance of a weak cool front. Said front will limp in and likely stall. While a brief shower cannot be ruled out in a couple spots Sunday night through Christmas Day, the vast majority of the time will be free of rain. Most areas likely won’t have any rain during that time frame, so do not change your holiday travel plans based on that. Mild weather will be the mainstay for next week, despite more rain later in the week.
