Three Central Red Devils Sign to Play at the Next Level

PETER PARRISH, RAY THORNTON, AND VENNESSA FRANK SIGN DIVISION ONE NATIONAL LETTERS OF INTENT

The last of our signing ceremonies took place at Central high school where two athletes signed their letters of intent to play football at power five schools.

Quarterback Peter Parrish signed to play for LSU and defensive back Ray Thornton signed to play for Clemson.

Track and field standout Vennessa Frank signed to run track at Texas State.

Thornton and Parrish talked on why they decided to sign early.

“It was a big relief because you know it was a long process, so you know when I committed, you know I felt way better for me and my family,” says Ray Thornton.

“I definitely want to get used to the process at LSU and get that burden off my back you know knowing where I’m going,” says Peter Parrish.
