CUBA TO OFFER FULL INTERNET ACCESS ON CELL PHONES

(CNN) – Cuba is one of the least connected countries in the world in terms of internet.

According to Freedom House, a U.S. government-funded NGO, but that is changing.

Cubans will soon have full internet access on cell phones.

It was announced on state TV by Cuba’s state run telecommunications company.

Connectivity will cost upwards of $7.00 for 600 mega bites.

It’s a high cost for a country where the average monthly salary is still little more than $20.00
