Body Fat Linked to Breast Cancer

Even women with low body fat are at a higher risk of breast cancer.

High body fat could increase the risk of breast cancer even in women who are not overweight.

Researchers with three New York hospitals tracked over 3 thousand women with a normal BMI for 16 years.

Those with the highest amount of body fat were twice as likely to develop breast cancer than women with the lowest amount.
