Georgia Has League-Leading Five On Coaches Freshman All-SEC Team

Five Georgia football players have been selected to the Coaches Freshman All-Southeastern Conference Team, according to a league announcement on Thursday.

Offensive linemen Isaiah Wilson and Cade Mays, quarterback Justin Fields, defensive lineman Jordan Davis and punter Jake Camarda gave Georgia the most individuals of any team in the conference.

In an announcement on Tuesday, sophomore left tackle Andrew Thomas, senior center Lamont Gaillard and senior defensive back Deandre Baker were included on the Coaches All-SEC First Team while sophomore tailback D’Andre Swift, senior defensive lineman Jonathan Ledbetter, junior place-kicker Rodrigo Blankenship and junior receiver/returner Mecole Hardman were part of the Second Team.

Baker also was a First Team selection on the Associated Press All-SEC squad while Thomas, Gaillard, Swift, Blankenship, Hardman (all-purpose) and senior outside linebacker D’Andre Walker made up part of the Second Team.
