Fort Benning 1ST Security Forces Brigade Returns From Overseas

SFAB'S are specialized units with the core mission to train, advise, assist, enable and accompany operations with allied and partner nations.

The 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade marks their return from a nine month deployment.

1st SFAB Uncased their colors in a ceremony Monday December 3rd, 2018 in support of “Operation Resolute Support” in Afghanistan.

Uncasing of colors is a traditional U.S. Army unit ceremony.

Every unit is represented by flags referred to as colors and when a unit returns from deployment, the uncasing of the colors is done to commemorate the unit’s accomplishments.
