Stormy Start To Weekend
Colder Again Next Week
Warmer weather is certainly upon us. However, the price to pay for that warmth is wet weather; perhaps even isolated severe weather.
Rain returns to the region as a wave of low pressure runs along the gulf coast/panhandle of Florida. This wave will keep the risk of severe storms away from the region through Saturday morning. However, the question is whether or not we can have glimmers of sunshine to help destabilize the atmosphere later Saturday or early Saturday night. If so, then damaging wind gusts are not out of the realm of possibility, so stay abreast of the changing weather.
Warm weather will linger through Sunday as our latest cold frost stalls across the region. Said front will help ignite another thunderstorm Sunday, albeit more miss than hit and far less active when compared to Saturday.
The cold front will exit Monday, but not before producing another round of showers and thunderstorms. Colder air that originated over Canada will return for the balance of next week.
