Beautiful Thanksgiving, Rain Coming Late Friday
CURRENT TIMING LATE FRIDAY NIGHT, EARLY SATURDAY MORNING FOR SHOWERS
Thanksgiving Eve looks beautiful over the area. After a cold start with 30s areawide, temperatures will warm into the upper 50s to lower 60s under clear skies and full sunshine.
Another cool night is in store tonight with lows in the upper 30s and lower 40s, giving way to another beautiful day tomorrow for Turkey Day with highs around 60.
The weather will begin to change on Black Friday. Clouds will increase early in the day, then will thicken and lower as a disturbance approaches the area. Rainfall will move in late Friday night, lasting through the early morning hours on Saturday.
Current indications are the timing of the rainfall may shape up well for area football games, arriving after the final whistle for high school playoff games Friday night and departing before kickoff of the big college football games Saturday afternoon.
After a chance of showers Sunday and Monday, clearing skies and colder temperatures move into the area by the middle of next week.
