Cold air spills in under the cover of darkness. Factor in that our recent blanket of cloud cover vanishes, and the wind diminishes, and the recipe is set for a frost or freeze. If the wind becomes nearly calm by daybreak, there may even be patches of freezing fog that can lend toward isolated slippery spots on bridges and overpasses, so caution is advised.
Sunshine will be dominant throughout Friday. While it will not be a cold as recent days, it will remain well below average for this time of year.
Frost will form again by Saturday morning, but likely on across the colder countryside locales.
More sun this weekend will allow for some pretty nice afternoons.
The next storm running along the gulf coast may miss us to the south at the end of next week, so for now it looks to be dry for Thanksgiving. Enjoy, and stay warm!
