FALL LOOKS TO HANG ON THIS TIME
A cold front sinks away from our area this evening and brings in cooler, drier air.
Today’s highs should not be as warm, but will remain several degrees above normal in the upper 70s to low 80s under mostly cloudy skies.
Clouds will start to clear this evening as the drier air moves in behind the front giving us lows in the mid to upper 50s.
Highs will top out in the low to mid 70s on Thursday under a mix of sun and clouds.
Friday may see highs struggling to get out the 60s.
Looking ahead, a stronger cold front will sweep through the region on Saturday bringing scattered showers that morning into the early afternoon before clearing up with cooler, drier air filtering in. Highs will struggle to get out of the 60s for Columbus on Sunday and we’ll start Monday with temps in the mid to upper 40s.
