Americans Living Only Slightly Longer
Your Health Minute
In Your Health News,
The average lifespan in the US will likely increase by 2040 but not by much.
A University of Washington study projects that if today’s health trends continue life expectancy will rise by only one year to 79.8 years.
That would be a drop in rank from 43rd to 64th in the world.
In comparison, lifespans in China are expected to increase five and a half years by 2040.
