9th Annual Auburn Oktoberfest

2,000 people from all over the state and even some out of staters came to Auburn to celebrate Oktoberfest!

75 brewers and more than 250 beers were offered at the AG Heritage Park on Auburn University’s campus.

This year, they moved it to the park from Hotel at Auburn University because of the popularity of the event.

Also this year, they had food trucks and wiener dog races! 10 wiener dogs raced each other for the gold!

But, this isn’t just a fun event for the community.

It’s also to support Auburn University’s brewing science class. The class has been offered at the university for five years now.

You take six classes for a year and they teach students how to become a master brewer and how to open a successful brewery!
