(CNN) – Be cautious before you have breakfast.

Recalled eggs from Alabama’s Gravel Ridge farms have been linked to nearly 40-cases of salmonella in seven states.

Alabama, Colorado, Iowa, Kentucky, Montana, Ohio and Tennessee.

The cage-free large eggs were recalled in September.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, ten people were sent to the hospital, but no fatalities have been reported.

The CDC says these eggs shouldn’t be sold, served or eaten.
