First Week of October Will Be Dry & Warmer than Normal
Daytime highs a good 6 degrees above average
High pressure builds across the Carolinas today and will pull moist Atlantic air in from the east, so will keep isolated showers and spotty thunderstorms in the forecast this afternoon under variable cloudiness.
Daytime highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.
Tonight will see lows in the mid 60s to low 70s.
For the rest of the week, drier air will filter in, so humidity should retreat a bit and rain chances will be all but nil, but temperatures will still remain several degrees above the norm.
