Fall Arrives….Not Really
Limited Wet Weather Threat For Now
Limited wet weather will be the name of the game over the next few days. Many locales won’t even pick up a drop. So, the combination of at least a partly sunny sky and Summertime humidity argues for Summer to hang around. The Autumnal Equinox is set to arrive at 9:54 edt on Saturday, but it’ll feel anything but Fall-like.
A couple spots well south and southeast of Columbus could pick up a brief thundershower Tuesday; otherwise sunshine will give way to some midday and afternoon clouds. A shift in the wind direction may allow for a stray afternoon thunderstorm later this week, but don’t get too excited. Daytime high temperatures will continue to run in excess of 90 degrees. If you’re not a fan of the heat, don’t fret. It will feel better by the time the peak of Fall color arrives in November!
