Florence Approaching Carolina Coast

What To Expect This Weekend Outdoors

A couple hit/miss thundershowers (no severe weather) will once again dot the landscape this evening.    However, the sinking air on the western periphery of Florence is expected to arrive later tonight into the start of this weekend.   That will lend to some sun, and more heat.

Florence will wobble near the Carolina coastline through Saturday morning.  Despite the storm strength weakening, there will be massive flooding before Florence moves farther inland.

No direct impacts from Florence will be felt around here, except the higher heat on the western flank of this storm.

A pop-up shower or thundershower cannot be ruled out later this weekend into early next week, but most of the time through next week should be rain-free.   Our toasty September continues!
