Florence: Airlines Issue Travel Waivers

DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS RELATED TO HURRICANE FLORENCE SEVERAL MAJOR AIRLINES HAVE ISSUED TRAVEL WAIVERS/ADVISORIES FOR AIRPORTS IN THE FORECASTED PATH OF THE STORM

(CNN) – Hurricane Florence is going to cause travel headaches this week.

A number of major airlines have already issued waivers and advisories for airports expected to be hit by the storm.

Those carriers include American, Delta, Southwest, Spirit, and United.

Florence was upgraded twice on Monday and is currently category four.

More than one-million people have evacuated their homes.

Florence is forecast to bring severe weather to North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.
