Summer Weekend

Pop-Up PM T-Storm

A thunderstorm, albeit quick and spotty, will be on the prowl this evening.   Keep your outdoor plans, as the thunderstorm activity will likely be south of Columbus.   Skies will turn out clear later tonight, setting the stage for a bright start to Saturday.

This weekend will feature more of the same; that is, above average temperatures and little late-day thundershower activity.     Fortunate, or not, an uptick in thunderstorm coverage will return early next week as a cool front approaches from the northwest, drawing in additional moisture off the Gulf of Mexico.

At the same time, Florence will re-strengthen over the Atlantic Ocean and make a run toward the Carolinas during the second half of next week.   Stay tuned, and have a great weekend!
