With that in mind, showers will begin to develop Wednesday morning, although the daybreak hour will likely be rain-free. A few of those showers will blossom into thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening, so heads up on the way out the door. Thursday and Friday will likely follow suit in the wet weather department.

This holiday weekend will also feature a thunderstorm or two, with the greatest chance of that occurring early in the weekend. Regardless, Summer heat will linger along with the humidity.
